TRUE FILTER™ is our complex, free of controversial UV filters, present in all Substance Of Light® skincare products.
Developed after more than 3 years of research by a former CNRS researcher, an expert in photoprotection, in collaboration with a scientific committee and dermatologists, it combines new-generation UV filters and cutting-edge dermatological active ingredients.
A complete system designed to protect, strengthen, and preserve the skin against daily environmental aggressions.
Multi-exposure protection
TRUE FILTER™ acts against all sources of light and urban stress:
+ UVA & UVB: broad-spectrum protection thanks to new-generation filters
+ Blue light: complementary protection against photo-induced aging

Formulated without controversial filters (such as octocrylene, avobenzone, homosalate, and octinoxate).
Cutting-edge UV filters
We have chosen to exclude controversial filters and nanoparticles to ensure safe and demanding formulas. Here is the list of new generation UV filters integrated into our TRUE FILTER™ complex:
Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate
+ Type: UVA
+ Spectrum: 320–400 nm
+ Description: Very photostable UVA filter, known for its high efficiency across the entire UVA spectrum.
+ Role: Protects against skin aging and deep damage linked to long-wave UVA.
Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine
+ Type: UVA + UVB (broad spectrum)
+ Spectrum: 280–400 nm
+ Description: Very photostable "broad spectrum" filter covering both UVA and UVB. A cornerstone filter in premium formulas.
+ Role: Ensures complete protection against solar radiation.
Ethylhexyl Triazone
+ Type: UVB
+ Spectrum: 290–315 nm
+ Description: One of the most powerful and highly photostable UVB filters on the market.
+ Role: Effectively protects against sunburn.
Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone
+ Type: UVB (very broad UVB + some UVA2)
+ Spectrum: ~280–340 nm
+ Description: Very high-performance, extremely photostable filter, often used to boost high SPFs.
+ Role: Strongly reinforces the SPF protection factor and improves the overall durability of sun protection.
Without controversial filters such as:
oxybenzone, octinoxate, octisalate, octocrylene, avobenzone, homosalate, PABA, titanium dioxide (TiO₂), nanoparticles.
