TRUE FILTER™ : Redéfinition des standards de la clean beauty

TRUE FILTER™: Redefining the Standards of Clean Beauty

Introduction

The definition of 'clean' varies across companies, retailers, and countries. To break through these blurred lines, Substance Of Light ® created TRUE FILTER™. While it meets the cleanliness standards of Sephora and Oh My Cream, TRUE FILTER™ goes beyond the requirements of clean beauty.

At Substance Of Light®, the concept of 'clean' goes far beyond a simple formulation. It embodies our commitment to total transparency , both in our products and in each of our actions. We provide our community with all the information necessary to make informed decisions. It is also a quest for balance, a sometimes complex compromise between efficacy, safety, and environmental responsibility.

This vision underpins our commitment to beauty that goes beyond appearances, fusing performance and responsibility. TRUE FILTER™ embodies this philosophy, pushing the boundaries of clean beauty to offer you an authentic experience that respects your skin and the planet.

The challenges of Clean Beauty

In the beauty industry, 'clean beauty' has become synonymous with 'natural' and 'safe ,' but these notions can be contradictory. Natural ingredients can cause irritation, while natural preservatives require high concentrations. TRUE FILTER™ addresses these challenges with a science-based approach.

Scientific Challenges and Exaggerated Concerns

Concerns about harmful sunscreen ingredients have led to a boycott of sunscreen by some, often based on exaggerated scientific evidence thresholds. At Substance Of Light ® , our commitment is based on providing credible data. Studies show that regular use of sunscreen can actually reduce the risk of melanoma. by 50%.

Substance Of Light ® : Beyond the Clean Brand

At Substance Of Light ® we ensure maximum safety for all skin types. While our products meet Clean Beauty standards, our commitment goes further. Specifically for organic and chemical filters, we've established a strict list excluding controversial filters such as oxybenzone, octinoxate, octisalate, octocrylene, avobenzone, homosalate, titanium dioxide, PABA, nanoparticles, and many others.

Marine eco-toxicity tests, validated by the CNRS and the Banyuls/Mer oceanographic observatory, demonstrate our commitment to eco-responsibility. These tests were carried out on 3 marine microalgae (Phaeodactylum tricornutum, Tisochrysis lutea, and Tetraselmis sp.) during a 72-hour exposure. Notably, most other brands only carry them out on a single type of microalgae , which is often not representative of the marine ecosystem.

We are committed to formulas without excess and a high naturalness index of 93% (excluding filters) according to ISO:16128. We also favor the use of allergen-free perfume and plant-based alcohol , firmly believing in their significant contribution to the sensory experience of our product.

Conclusion

TRUE FILTER™ pushes the boundaries of clean beauty by overcoming scientific challenges and adhering to rigorous standards. Our commitments reflect our dedication to skin safety and eco-responsibility. Choose TRUE FILTER™ for beauty that transcends the boundaries of clean beauty, combining effectiveness and responsibility towards the planet.
